Tereza Stadler is a technical translator, proofreader and escort/field interpreter (English > Brazilian Portuguese) since 2009.

She has an undergraduate degree in Literature and Linguistics and a graduate degree in Translation. She attended some English Composition Courses (Duke University and Ohio State University), holds a TOEFL certificate, dedicates herself to the deep study of both English and Portuguese grammars, and has been specializing in her working fields through courses, workshops, conferences and independent study.

She worked at English Language Centers for 3 years providing classes of English conversation, Portuguese for foreigners, and preparatory classes for the TOEFL test.

Nowadays she dedicates herself exclusively to translating. She provides services for both individual and legal entities and has considerable experience in the following areas: Forestry, Marketing, Oil & Gas, Safety Systems, PPEs, Work at Height and Sports. Linguistics, Sociology, Philosophy, Geography, Tourism. Anthroposophy, Waldorf Education, Conciousness and Complementary Medicine are subjects of both personal interest and translation. Some of her clients are translation agencies, insurance companies, timberland investment and management companies and organizations (TIMOs), work at height companies and academic researchers.

Tereza Stadler is an ATA (American Translators Association) and Abrates (Brazilian Association of Translators) Associate Member and works with the main computer-assisted translation tools (CAT tools). She can offer accurate translation and proofreading and strict respect to deadlines.
